The new $1,000,000 bill has been released. If you are thinking about passing this off somewhere, please don’t try and do it in this country.

In continuing the cycle of profitting anytime some sort of media attention is given to a recent event, you can now purchase the new stuffed animal, Nappy-Headed Hoes on eBay (actually they have since been removed from eBay, but don’t be surprised to see a few websites popping up selling them). These people are quick!

Google just keeps on spending, spending, and spending… Can you blame them?

It has been reported that Google has purchased the advertising company that was started in 1996, DoubleClick, for $3.1 billion. DoubleClick, which has $300 million of annual revenue, is another step Google has taken on its path to Cyber Space Domination. Microsoft was also reportedly in talks with DoubleClick for a sale. However, Google put its foot down with this tremedous offer.

The question remains, what does all this mean for everyone? I am excited at the thought of Google

Ummm, nevermind that previous post.

I’m not one who is terribly offended by Don Imus’ comments about the Rutgers’ women’s basketball team, but I can hardly have any sympathy for him, or for his sincerely insincere apologies. You are a public figure, and you know the lines that you should not cross. I think his remarks were grossly insensitive and have no place on radio airwaves, but I see it unnecessary to hold press conferences and having the likes of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton using this as a political stepping stone.

It almost seemed as if Imus woke up in the morning and made a checklist as follows:

Why have 1 website when you can have 10?

Did you know that over 65% of people are more willing to make a purchase online after reading it on a blog, as opposed to making a purchase from a simple banner ad or text link? It’s true! With blogs, you have human generated critiques and opinions of products and services, so users feel comfortable that someone else has come before them in testing any given product or service. After all, a blogger certainly won’t broadcast positive feedback for a company that does not meet one’s expected quality standards.

So where do we come in? I am currently devising a system by which website owners can generate the buzz and traffic that you can only obtain from blogs, by yourself (and for hardly any money). There are only a few steps involed:

Before I begin, I must apologize to those interested in reading this post in hopes of receiving advice that will multiply your portfolio tenfold, so if you’ve placed a down payment on your dream yacht to compete with the likes of Paul Allen, I hope it’s refundable.
